Funerals & Celebrations of Life in Columbia, SC

A Meaningful Goodbye. A Life Remembered. A Story Told with Care.

Grief doesn't come with a checklist, and you shouldn't have to figure everything out on your own.

My role is to bring a steady presence to a difficult time. I'll listen, ask the right questions, help you decide what belongs in the ceremony, and take care of the words and structure so you don't have to.

I'll help you:

  • Decide what kind of ceremony feels appropriate

  • Gather the memories and stories you want included

  • Create a ceremony that reflects your loved one's personality

  • Incorporate faith, traditions, or meaningful rituals if desired

  • Coordinate with your funeral home, venue, or other professionals

  • Lead the ceremony with professionalism, compassion, and a calm presence

My hope is that when the day comes, you can spend less time worrying about the details and more time being with the people you love.

Every Family Has a Story

I welcome families of all backgrounds and beliefs.

Your ceremony can be religious, spiritual, secular, traditional, contemporary—or a combination that is uniquely yours. I don't come with assumptions about what your goodbye should look like. I come ready to listen.

Because every life is different. Every family is different. And every goodbye deserves to be personal.

What You Can Expect

1. A Conversation
We'll talk by phone or Zoom about your loved one, your family, and what you're hoping the ceremony will feel like.

2. Sharing Their Story
I'll guide you through the process of gathering memories, stories, relationships, and details that help tell the full story of their life.

3. A Ceremony Written for You
I'll thoughtfully write a complete, personalized ceremony based on what you've shared.

4. Coordination
I'll work with the funeral home, venue, or other professionals as needed to help everything come together smoothly.

5. A Steady Presence
On the day of the service, I'll lead the ceremony with warmth, dignity, and professionalism—giving you space to grieve, remember, and be present.

Saying Goodbye Is Personal. Let It Be Meaningful.

Whether you're planning a funeral, memorial service, or celebration of life in Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, Chapin, or throughout the Midlands of South Carolina, I'm here to help you create a ceremony that truly reflects the life being remembered.

You don't need to have the right words. You just need to share the stories. I'll help you take it from there.

Calm Guidance When You Need It Most

As a funeral and celebration of life officiant serving Columbia and the Midlands of South Carolina, I work with families to create personal, meaningful ceremonies that honor the person who has died—not simply the occasion.

Some families want a traditional service. Others prefer a celebration of life that feels more personal and uplifting. Some want faith woven throughout the ceremony, while others want something spiritual, reflective, or completely non-religious.

There is no right or wrong way to say goodbye. There is only the way that feels right for your family.
